Nina

User Interface Designer, Denmark

Nina

Nina has had a classic short-term career path. She came to Radiometer as a trainee and has remained on the payroll as a User Interface Designer. Her role today is fascinating.

User Interface Designer is a pretty new post and involves interaction between people and computers. Therefore Nina works in close collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues such as software developers, domain experts, and mechanical engineers. “Instead of sitting at your desk and thinking about a problem, you go into the field and observe. And then you bring it back to analyze it, a bit like detective work,” Nina explains.

As a designer, anything that does not contribute to making the product simpler to use and pleasing is a negative. It is all about user experience.
